STASVOTTER

STASVOTTER er ikke bare skikkelig fine votter, strikket av flinke strikkere til fine anledninger, de er i tillegg strikket av garn spunnet av ull fra sauer i Trøndelag! Ulla er verken farget eller bleket, den er skånsomt behandlet, vasket og spunnet lokalt av Selbu Spinneri. Garnet ble utviklet av kunsthåndverker Anne Bårdsgård i samarbeid med Selbu Spinneri i anledning boken Selbuvotter for å kunne strikke opp de helt eldste vottene som ble funnet i Selbu i samme kvalitet som tidligere. 

Vi bruker alltid 100 % Norsk ull i alle våre votter.

Extra Fine Mittens are not only beautiful garments knit by skilled knitters for special occasions, they are also knit with yarn made from wool from sheep in our region! The wool has neither been dyed nor bleached, it has been handled with outmost care, washed and spun by Selbu Spinneri. The yarn was developed by Anne Bårdsgård in collaboration with Selbu Spinneri during the work with the book Selbu Mittens in order to be able to knit the oldest mittens that were found in Selbu in the same quality as earlier.

We only use 100 % Norwegian wool in all our mittens.
